Detail stack sizes (top row) and the number of packet slots they have upwards (middle row). Sticks stack to 64, so they have up ane bundle slot; ender pearls stack to xvi, then they have upward four; and swords exercise not stack, so they take up the whole package. So, for example, a bundle may take 32 sticks and 8 ender pearls within (lesser), which take upward a total of (32×i) + (8×4) =64 bundle slots.

Bundles are used to store dissimilar item types in the same inventory slot. This does non, however, increase the total capacity of the slot: each package has 64 "bundle slots" and each item placed in the packet takes up these slots similar to how they take upwardly infinite in a normal inventory slot: items that stack to 64 take up i bundle slot, items that stack to sixteen (for case, eggs) take up 4, and items that practice not stack (such as tools/weapons/armor) take upwards the whole packet, all 64 slots.

Although bundles themselves cannot be stacked, a package tin can exist placed inside some other (nested): the inner packet itself uses 4 slots plus the number of slots already occupied by the items in that package.[ane]

To identify items inside a bundle, either (one) option upward the parcel in the inventory and right-click on the item(s) to be placed inside or (ii) choice up the item(s) and correct-click on the bundle. When placing bundles inside another bundle, the interface uses the first method: picking up Bundle A and right clicking on Bundle B attempts to store Package B inside A.

Bundles tin be used inside the inventory to take out the concluding item put in. In this way, items are accessible LIFO (terminal in, showtime out). When used outside the inventory, it dumps all the items out into the globe.

Hovering over the parcel shows its contained items in its inventory slots. The number of bundle slots used is displayed every bit <fullness>/64 in the tooltip. If the bundle is full, and then the empty slots are greyed out with an .

Shulker Boxes cannot be placed inside of bundles.

Hovering the mouse over a package filled with mob loot, nigh full, with 61 items.
